Hello my name is Annette Stephenson-Shipp owner of Strawberry Shipp, I am an Artist & Illustrator practicing for the past 4 years (since 2020). Strawberry Shipp’s goal is to create artwork that encourages and inspires others to slow down and take a moment to breath. That is why my artwork portrays/depicts many nature scenes like parks and trains, which are not the fastest way of traveling but are a privilege to be able to take a journey at a slower pace being more mindful of the present breath/journey.There is beauty in the everyday weather it is the fast work life of 9-5’s or even military or even the very different but somehow just as busy stay at home mom-the world, many of us are busier than we would like to be needing a reminder to take a breath, needing hope that change will come, or needing a second to find peace within the boredom.Our lives do not have to be flashy to be great. When I dream of the world I want for my children I want them to be at peace, to be able to slow down when they need to.
